ADMINISTRATION
The Scheme is administered through the National Service Secretariat, under the National Service Board. The Secretariat has a Head Office in the national Capital headed by the Director with fifteen (15) Heads of Department. There are ten (10) Regional Secretariats in the Regional capitals and one hundred and fifteen (115) District Secretariats in the District Capitals countrywide, in all the Scheme has a labour force of two hundred and forty-seven personnel, including technical and support staff.
THE NATIONAL SERVICE BOARD
The present Board was inaugurated by the then Honorable Minister of Education Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Ekumfi on July 18, 2002. The Board consists of the following.
